Two films of complete different nature and target audience released yesterday. ''Finding Fanny'' was meant for urban audience and ''Creature 3D'' would attract mainly audience from small towns. But ''Finding Fanny'' managed some good numbers over weekend despite niche appeal but fell flat on Monday.
''Finding Fanny'' had best numbers in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. Film opened to poor show all over and though it grew from evening onwards which was expected but it did not post respectable day one total at box office.
Film has collected 5.10 cr nett on day which was poor. As we predicted that film will jump over weekend as reviews are positive film did jump on Saturday but film needs miraculous steadiness like ''Queen'' for couple of weeks to save day at box office.
Film added 7.05 cr nett on day two which was growth of 30%. Film collected 7.75 cr nett on Sunday which was slim jump but not a big jump which is a case these days due to late evening Sunday affect. But film met with its fate on Monday and dropped by big 60% on Monday.
Film collected 2.50 cr nett on Monday followed by further drop of 20% on Tuesday with the figures of 2.10 cr nett and 1.90 cr nett on Wednesday. Film has collected 26.40 cr nett in 6 days and now business on weekdays can take it close to 28 cr nett week one which will be poor. Film did not find same kind of appreciation as expected from pre release buzz.
